What?

The Graduate Student-Faculty Colloquium (SFC) is a biannual, day-long conference designed to facilitate dialogue between graduate students and faculty regarding the graduate student experience at Caltech and to address the present concerns of the campus community as a whole.

Programming includes a keynote address by the dean of graduate studies, presentations from occupational therapists and AVP Dr. Lindsey Malcom-Piqueux on work-life balance, professional development, and DEI efforts, a student-faculty discussion panel featuring live audience Q&A, and breakout sessions.

See below for the full event schedule, invited speakers, and panelists information. Please contact the SFC Chair Melissa Li (mli3@caltech.edu) for additional questions.

When?

The 2021 SFC will take place on Friday, April 9th, 2021. Students and faculty are encouraged to register and attend as much of the event as they can, even if schedules require a late arrival or early departure from the event.
