Buddy Program

Welcome to the Caltech family!

In the Buddy Programnew international students will be paired with current Caltech studentsBuddy Pairs are encouraged to meet at least once a month for the first term so that current student Buddies can serve as the first point of contact for general questions and concerns, and to provide an introduction to the Caltech community.

This is an opportunity for incoming students to address specific questions, challenges, and expectations associated with being a Caltech student, including work-life balance, navigating U.S. academic and cultural norms, etc. from a student perspective. We will pair students based on preferences and academic interests, hobbies, etc., in order to help with cross-cultural transitions.
